AAUW Wisconsin Educational Foundation Vice-President
State Board Position Profile
Educational Foundation Vice-President
Term:
Two Years, starting every even numbered year
Status:
Elected and attends board and executive committee meetings
Requirements:
Fund raising, management skills and experience, and basic computer skills
Strategic Plan Committee:
Educational Foundation and Legal Advocacy Fund
Duties:
Resource
- Maintains and chairs a committee for the Educational Foundation, including representatives from the five districts
- Suggests ideas for fundraisers at the branch level
- Acts as a resource to branch and EF counterparts
Contributions
- Promotes financial support for EF within the state
- Solicits support for Foundation fundraisers
- Encourages branches to contribute $25.00 per member to the Foundation
- Encourages all board members to make a contribution to the Foundation
- Maintains records of branch donations for top ten branches and per capita awards
- Collects and forwards branch contributions to the Foundation
- Maintains a record of contributions for each branch
Convention
- Presents short workshop on topics needed to be highlighted
- Presents awards at dinner
Communications
- Helps branches and individual members understand EF
- Corresponds with branch EF chairs
- Submits board meeting reports and an annual report of her work to the state president
- Keeps board and branches informed about the funds in accounts and goals to be completed
- Writes articles for Badger Briefs four times a year
