DR JERENE MORTENSON TO SPEAK AT BETHEL, HUDSON, JUNE 24
You are invited to attend Bethel Lutheran Church's annual Mission Tea June 24 at 1:00 pm at Bethel Highlands, 504 Frontage Road, Hudson. A light luncheon will be followed by a presentation from Dr. JereneMortenson. A question-and-answer period with Mortenson will end the program.
Dr. Mortenson will speak about the impact educating children, particularly girls, can have on the direction of Middle Eastern countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan. She will share the stories of women who have attended schools in these countries and the effect education has had on their lives. Contact Lori Conley at Bethel (715-386-8821) for more information.
